                                                                 The centralized biobank will allow for increased focus on collecting,
                                                               processing and analyzing specimens from patients with diseases that
                                                               disproportionately affect the South Texas population, with special em-
                                                               phasis on Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, diabetes and heart disease.
