Charles L. Branch Sr., MD, died Dec. 6. A BCMS member, Dr. Branch, 87, was a neurosurgeon for
nearly 30 years.
James E. Pridgen, MD, died Dec. 24 at age 95. Dr. Pridgen was a surgeon in private practice and a
BCMS member.
Lawrence F. Schuhmacher III, MD, died Dec. 24. Dr. Schuhmacher, 78, practiced anesthesia and
