joint CME is also being planned during this trip.
Chennai is a bustling metropolis on the Eastern Coast of Southern
India with a rich history, vibrant culture and thriving economy. Chen-
nai is also home to world class healthcare institutions like the M.V.
Hospital for Diabetes, Sankara Nethralaya Eye Hospital, and the SR
Arthroscopy and Sports Sciences Center which tend to the needs of
patients from all over India and abroad.
December – January is an excellent time to visit Chennai. The
weather is very comfortable with an average temperature of about 76
degrees. For Indian classical music aficionados, The Madras Music
Season, considered the largest cultural festival in the world, featuring
more than 1,200 live performances, can be quite the treat. Sprawling
malls to street vendors offer an irresistible menu of options for the
shopaholic. Cuisines from all over the world await the connoisseur.
If this sounds exciting, do contact the BCMS for more details on
joining the delegation.
