BCMS
COMMITTEES

BCMS Committees

Each year, BCMS members are given the opportunity to participate in a rich diversity of committees that
impact the practice of medicine in Bexar County, Texas and beyond.

Because active participation in BCMS strengthens the voice of organized medicine, we encourage all members
(including medical students, residents and fellows) to participate on BCMS committees and help make an impact
on the role BCMS plays in the medical community.

education of the local community to prevent deceitful and im-
proper patient care. It also provides a forum for Bexar County
physicians to meet and discuss the needs of the medical profession
and the advances in medicine.

Today, BCMS physicians continue to support their peers
through their membership and the many opportunities that
BCMS provides for them to be involved in the medical commu-
nity including:

Networking Opportunities. By joining the Bexar County
Medical Society you will be provided with many opportunities
to create and deepen existing personal relationships. Your mem-

your peers. These business relationships will inevitably serve as a
great source of advice, referrals, inspiration and friendship.

Continuing Education. Bexar County Medical Society physi-
cian members strongly believe in the term of “knowledge is
power.” Throughout the year we offer several options for contin-
