DSHS Surveillance Case Definitions for COVID-19 As of May 11, 2020- In accordance with The Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE), DSHS has adopted the following case classification strategy. The new definition is for a probable case of COVID-19; there are multiple criteria that can lead to this classification. See the attached document for full guidance. Pediatricians Care for and Protect Children Amidst the Pandemic As Governor Abbott and his team begin to reopen our state, Texas pediatricians are ready to have children and adolescents for whom they provide care back in their offices. COVID-19 Deadlines and Extensions for Doctors Update on deadlines and extensions including telemedicine prices and services, Medicare’s 2019 and 2020 QPP deadline and feedback. View deadlines
COVID-19 Claims Reimbursement to Health Care Providers and Facilities Health care providers who have conducted COVID-19 testing or provided treatment for uninsured individuals with a COVID-19 diagnosis on or after February 4, 2020 can request claims reimbursement and will be reimbursed generally at Medicare rates, subject to available funding.
