Whooping Cough Spikes, Especially Among Unvaccinated Teens
The US is experiencing more than four times as many whooping cough cases compared with last year. The CDC reported that 14,569 cases of whooping cough have been confirmed so far in 2024; last year's total was 3,475 reported cases.
