Measles Cases In US Triple From Last Year, CDC Data Show
The number of measles cases recorded this year is more than triple the total from all of last year- with five months still to go. According to data released by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, 188 cases have been reported in the US. New Initiative Launched by WHO to Develop mRNA Bird Flu Vaccines
The World Health Organization announced Monday that it has launched an initiative to help accelerate the development of a human bird flu vaccine using messenger RNA (mRNA) technology. FDA Approves Blood Test to Screen for Colon Cancer
The Food and Drug Administration approved Guardant Health's blood test, called Shield, to screen for colon cancer. The test is not mean to replace colonoscopies but may increase the number of people screened for colorectal cancer- especially adults too young for routine colonoscopies. Learn more.
