CDC, National Weather Service Present New Online Heat Risk System
The Center of Disease Control and Prevention and the National Weather Service created a new online heat risk system that demonstrates meteorological and medical risk factors with the addition of a more severe color, magenta. This is due to over 120,000 U.S. emergency room visits due to heat last year. Learn more.

Cigna to Deny Claims Without Z-Code Documentation
Starting July 14, Cigna Healthcare will deny certain claims that are billed with a Z code and without documentation, a move that could add to physicians' administrative burden. Physicians will need to refer to multiple policies. The TMA's Physician Payment Resource Center offers payment and coding help for you and your practice. Learn more.
