East Texans Have a Higher Rate of Diabetes Than the National Average
As of 2021, about 2.5 million Texas adults, or 11.1%, had been diagnosed with diabetes, compared to a national rate of 8.5%, according to the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
