TMA Pleased by US District Court Ruling Granting Summary Judgment Motion
TMA is pleased the court granted its motion for summary judgment in its lawsuit challenging certain components of the federal agencies’ final rules relating to the federal independent dispute resolution (IDR) process under the No Surprises Act. This is an important next step after TMA successfully challenged an interim final rule that similarly skewed the IDR process in health plans’ favor. Read more.

In search of a good night’s sleep, 18 percent of US adults use some type of medication to help them snooze, according to a report from the National Center for Health Statistics, part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This Heart Month the Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention is expanding the reach of the Million Hearts® and CDC Foundation’s “Live to the Beat” campaign, which focuses on encouraging and empowering Black adults ages 35 to 54 to take small steps to reduce their risks for cardiovascular diseases.
