Members Sought for the Medical Care Advisory
Committee
If you’re interested in
providing access to high quality, comprehensive medical and health
care services to medically indigent people in the state, you can
apply to be a member of the Medical Care Advisory
Committee. The Texas Health and Human Services
Commission executive commissioner will appoint members to the
committee to serve a term ending Dec. 31, 2026 or Dec. 31, 2028.
Applications are
due by 11:59 p.m., April 3.

Muslim Women Physicians Association Merit Award. Each spring, AMWPA
offers three $1,000 scholarships based on academic achievement and
