COVID-19 Interim Guidance: Return to Sports and Physical Activity
This guidance applies to children and adolescents who are participating in and/or returning to physical activity, inclusive of but not limited to, organized sports and physical education class within school. Pediatricians should consider any children or adolescents who participate in any physical activity, organized or not, to fall within the context of this guidance. This update clarifies CDC guidance for quarantine and isolation as it relates to sports and provides new guidelines for return to physical activity after a COVID-19 diagnosis. View chart here.

The Physicians Foundation Fellowship Program
The Physicians Foundation’s Fellowship Program is aimed to advance physicians’ leadership skills, improve physician wellbeing, address social drivers of health (SDOH) and lift physician perspectives. SDOH recognize that the conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work and age have a major influence on individuals’ health and the cost of health care in America. The fellowship provides a mentoring program that equips participants with the tools and knowledge to engage in addressing the immediate and ongoing impediments to physicians, ultimately improving practice environments and professional fulfillment. Apply now.
