Study Finds Myocarditis after Covid Vaccine Low Among Teens and Young Adults
The incidence of myocarditis and pericarditis after Covid vaccination is low and most patients make a full recovery, a large international study from Nationwide Children’s Hospital found. UTHSA Has Initiated an NIH Multicenter Trial of the ACTG for Human Mpox Virus
UT Health San Antonio has initiated the STOMP (Study of Tecoviramat for Human Monkeypox Virus), an NIH multicenter trial of the ACTG. It is a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blinded trail of the safety and efficacy of tecovirimat for Mpox. Those with severe disease will quality for open label drug.
