COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Shot
The goal is for people to start receiving a COVID-19 booster shot beginning in the fall, with individuals being eligible starting 8 months after they received their second dose of an mRNA vaccine (either Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna). CDC is offering answers to your vaccine booster questions here

Moderna Developing Single-Dose Booster Shot For Covid and Flu
Moderna announced on Thursday it is developing a single vaccine that combines a booster dose against Covid-19 with its experimental flu shot. The company hopes to eventually add vaccines it is working on for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and other respiratory diseases as an annual shot.

University Health, Bexar County to Offer Drive-Thru Flu Shots
Flu is already circulating, and University Health is offering flu shots to the public at a series of events hosted by Bexar County Commissioners. You can register and view the schedule here.

The Federal Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology is hosting a series of clinician-focused webinars to discuss the information-blocking requirements in the 21st Century Cures Act. Billing for Telemedicine During COVID-19 
COVID-19 prompted an increased need for telemedicine services to connect physicians with their patients. To quickly meet that need, Texas Medicaid adopted waivers and changed policies to ease technology restrictions and expand the number of Medicaid services available virtually. Continue reading.
