An American Medical
Association survey revealed in May that for the first time, the
majority of U.S. physicians (50.2%) are now employees,
suggesting the nature of how and where physicians practice is at an
inflection point. Most experts agree that the trends driving down
the number of independent physicians will continue. But they also

Texas Governor
Bans COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates
On Monday, October 11th,
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued an executive order prohibiting any
entity, including private business, from enforcing a COVID-19
vaccine mandate on workers and called on state lawmakers to pass a
similar ban into law. It comes in response to President Biden's
mandate announced last month that all businesses with 100 or more
employees require their workforces get vaccinated or regularly
tested.

The upcoming flu season in
the Northern Hemisphere merging with the current COVID-19 pandemic
raises a potentially severe threat to public health. Through
experimental coinfection with influenza A virus (IAV) and either
pseudotyped or live SARS-CoV-2 virus, we found that IAV
preinfection significantly promoted the infectivity of SARS-CoV-2

warning people not to use any artnaturals hand sanitizers due to
safety concerns. The FDA said it put artnaturals hand sanitizer
products on its list of more than 200 hand
