BCMS Recommends Following CDC Guidelines
The Bexar County Medical Society continues to stress
the importance of wearing masks, practicing social distancing,
washing hands frequently, and receiving a vaccine when eligible as
the most effective ways to stop the spread of COVID-19.
BCMS COVID-19 Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Licensed Medical Professionals and others
are needed for the Mass Vaccination Clinics being held at the Alamo
Dome and Mobile Vaccination Clinic. All vaccinators/drawers
must register on the Texas Disaster Volunteer Registry (TDVR)
with the Alamo Area Medical Reserve Corps (MRC).

Virtual First Tuesdays at the Capitol
Join TMA at noon on the first Tuesday of the month

State Opens COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility to All
Texans
All Texas adults will be eligible to receive a
COVID-19 vaccine starting March 29, the Department of State Health
Services (DSHS) said today. Practices should continue to prioritize
patients who are 80 and older “whether or not they have an
appointment, by immediately moving them to the front of the line,”
