Vaccination Event – 2nd Doses
If you received your first dose of Moderna vaccine
at the BCMS vaccination event on Jan. 10, the SECOND dose
vaccination clinic will be held at BCMS on Saturday, Feb. 6. H-E-B
Pharmacy will be sending you a link via text or email to schedule
your appointment. If you did not provide a cell phone number or
email address to H-E-B, please let us know; otherwise they will
contact you. DO

Call for Resolutions to be Considered by the BCMS
Delegation to TMA
Do you know an issue(s) facing medicine that should
be addressed by the TMA House of Delegates?
If so, the issue(s) needs to be submitted to BCMS in the form of a
Resolution. The BCMS Delegation to TMA will meet this week to
review resolutions submitted by BCMS members. A sample
resolution form is available here. The deadline to submit your
draft resolutions to BCMS is Tuesday,
Feb. 2. To learn more about getting involved with
the BCMS Delegation to TMA or to submit your resolution ideas,

Experts Needed for the Medical Quality Review Panel
Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) is
looking for board certified doctors and health care practitioners
to serve on the Medical Quality Review Panel (MQRP). MQRP members
are paid to help DWC's Medical Advisor ensure that injured
employees in the workers’ compensation system receive medically
necessary and appropriate health care. Learn more.
