Health Advisory: Updated Guidance for COVID-19 As of May 6, San Antonio Metro has updated guidance for healthcare providers on testing criteria, discontinuation of isolation for people outside of a healthcare setting, and disease reporting. Read the full advisory here. FAQ about Testing in the Time of COVID-19 Texas MedClinic that operates the largest number of COVID-19 testing centers in Bexar County, has released a FAQ page to clarify some of the critical issues around COVID-19 testing to help you determine whether testing is indicated for you, your family, and/or your employees (if you are an employer). BCMS Telemedicine Survey Are you offering Telemedicine services in your practice? The Bexar County Medical Society is updating the online Find a Doctor referral profiles to indicate if you offer Telemedicine services in your practice. Please click here to let us know.
N95 Battelle Decontamination System Battelle Critical Care Decontamination System is now OPEN and may begin to decontaminate N95 or N95- equivalent filtering facepiece respirators that do not contain cellulose. Once you sign up for this service and are given a code, call 210-206-8571. For questions you can call Battelle Decon San Antonio Call Center, at 210-206-8571. This Call Center, open M-F 7-5 will assist in the accountability and tracking of PPE as it moves to and through the system. Using Cleaners and Disinfectants Safely at Home The Texas Poison Center Network (TPCN) has seen a 70% increase in calls related to cleaning products and disinfectants.
