physicians honor Sen. Carlos Uresti On Oct. 17, Michael Battista, MD and
Pamela Ray, DDS, hosted a reception at their home in honor of State Senator
Carlos Uresti (Dist 19). The TEXPAC-sponsored event was attended by
several physicians, who heard from the Senator on a number of key issues to
medicine, including the importance of physicians being politically active and
maintaining contact with their respective elected members in the state House
and Senate both during the interim and the upcoming legislative session. For local discussion on these and
