Summit June 9-10, 2016 at the JW Marriott in Houston.
This is THE
learning laboratory for primary care transformation in Texas.
The sessions are
wide-ranging and include fundamentals of the adult and
pediatric health
home; using telemedicine in your office to better manage
chronic
conditions; integrating behavioral health into the primary care
office; improving
chronic pain management; leveraging technology for
better patient
engagement and elements of a successful ACO. There is
something for
everyone that is interested in improving the health and health
care of Texans.
The Summit is
co-produced by the Texas Medical Home Initiative and the
Texas Health
Institute, both Texas non-profit health care policy
organizations. The
Texas Medical Association is a major supporter of the
Summit.
This year's Summit
will feature 3 keynote addresses; 3 in-depth pre-Summit
courses; 23
different breakout sessions and several breakfast with faculty
sessions. Plan on
bringing your whole team so you can get the most out of
