PQRS
scores to be published soon
on
Physician Compare website
Physicians
can preview scores before they go public; preview period ends Nov. 6
Chief Governmental and Community
Relations Officer
Beginning Oct. 5, the Centers for Medicare &
Medicaid Services (CMS) will provide physicians with a 30-day window
to preview their Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS)
performance scores prior to publication on the Physician Compare
website.
These scores reflect 2014 quality data that was
submitted to the PQRS. TMA has compiled important information in the
following link to help you determine if you or your practice will
have public information on Physician Compare, including links to the
Physician Compare email contact, the CMS website and a guide to help
you navigate the performance scores preview process.
For
local discussion on this and other legislative advocacy topics,
consider joining the BCMS Legislative and Socioeconomics Committee by
contacting Mary Nava.
