Last Monday, Aug. 17, a reception was held in honor of
Congressman Michael Burgess, MD (R-Lewisville) at the Omni Hotel
Colonnade. A number of topics were discussed, including:
the post SGR landscape, ICD-10, physician-owned facilities, federal
spending and taxes, and the Geographic Practice Cost Index (GPCI).
Many thanks to all the physicians and Alliance members
who attended.
