The Weekly Dose           Bexar County Medical Society

Week of Sept. 22, 2013

Vol. 3, No. 2

Be ready for upcoming coverage changes

By John K. Wisniewski

BCMS CEO/Executive Director

In the next few weeks, health coverage options for the exchange and marketplace are scheduled to be revealed to the public. Although selected  payers are required to have adequate physician networks, few BCMS members indicate that they have arrangements in place to participate.

This would be a good week to identify a point person and process to respond to an anticipated flurry of activity.
