9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at the Josephine Theater, 339 W.

attend an enjoyable evening of lively entertainment performed by
some very talented physicians. Proceeds benefit the BCMS Medical
Library Association.
For interested participants,
now is the time to register your act to be a part of the 2014
showcase. We're seeking a variety of acts and styles, including,
but not limited to, playing a musical instrument, dancing, singing,
magic acts, comedians and skit performances.

Select Medical opens
fourth local medical facility
With
the addition of Select Rehabilitation Hospital of San Antonio, at
the intersection of Stone Oak Parkway and Huebner Road, national
provider Select Medical officially has opened its fourth medical
facility in San Antonio.
The rehabilitation hospital
offers programs to address physical and functional challenges
resulting from stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Parkinson's, brain
injury and orthopaedic conditions ranging from joint replacement to
hip fractures.
CEO Bob Ward says the hospital
will offer "the most advanced technologies in rehabilitation
to achieve outcomes beyond national benchmarks," noting that
this is a key focus area.
The hospital features 40 private
rooms and a semi-private room to accommodate dialysis patients.
