I'm excited and honored to return
to the Bexar County Medical Society.
After serving as BCMS CEO and
executive director from 2003 to 2008, I retired with plans of
consulting as a business management specialist. I never dreamed I'd
be walking back into this wonderful organization and rejoining the
BCMS family.
Needless to say, I've missed
collaborating with the dedicated physicians and staff here. I look
forward to a prosperous and exciting 2014 and beyond.

Physicians Health and Rehabilitation Program
The BCMS Physician Health and
Rehabilitation (PH&R) Committee's goal is to advocate and aid in
the recovery success of the impaired physician.
The BCMS PH&R program offers:
- Meeting with physicians
impaired by alcohol or drugs
- Facilitating
rehabilitation, if needed
- Monitoring the recovery
process
- AA/NA weekly support
group meetings for medical professionals
- Working as your
advocate with compliance reporting to your requested recipients
